FROM THE HEART OF WALES

Rain falls on limestone strata high on the Black Mountain in the Brecon Beacons National Park, an area of outstanding beauty. It then filters over a period of around 15 years beneath a protective mantle of millstone grit to the Brecon Carreg borehole.

The Brecon Carreg borehole penetrates to a depth of 240 feet, and delivers naturally purified water with a uniquely refreshing taste. Brecon Carreg is available in still and sparkling and in a wide range of bottle sizes - from 500ml to 5 litres. Multipacks are also available.

Brecon Carreg water is sourced and bottled in the breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park, right at the heart of Wales. This area of outstanding natural beauty features no less than 519 square miles of spectacular mountains, waterfalls, caves and wooded gorges. And our water is as refreshingly unspoilt as its stunning surroundings.

Our water begins as rain falling on the hills and valleys. Then, year after year, it streams, trickles and filters through the dense layers of limestone strata, being naturally purified and gaining its unique taste and mineral content along the way.

The entire process is a completely natural one and it’s what makes our water as pure as it is refreshing.

The trend towards healthy eating and drinking means that more people are buying bottled water. We're mostly made of water. Water is life-giving and vital.

In the UK we now buy more than 2 billion litres a year. As we consume more water many people naturally want to know that the water they drink is free from unwanted additives; they want to identify the source of the water; and more and more Britons want to avoid unnecessary ‘food miles’.
